Barber/Beauty Shop
A new combination barber and beauty shop will open on or about April 15 in the former tailor shop, Bldg. 40, on Camp Red Cloud. The exact date of the opening will be forthcoming.

Ice Fish Festival
The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation is hosting a trip to the Inje Ice Fish Festival at Soyang Lake Jan. 29. Visit your nearest Community Activity Center to sign up by Jan. 26. The transportation fee from the Community Activity Center at Camps Hovey, Casey, Red Cloud and Stanley is $30. Food Court Closure
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service Food Court, Bldg. 120, at Camp Red Cloud will be closed all day Jan. 26 for construction. It will resume its regular weekday hours – 7 a.m.-9 p.m. – the following day.
Montgomery Gentry Concert - January 25!
The 2000 Country Music Association Vocal Duo of the Year – Montgomery Gentry – will appear in concert at 7 p.m., Jan. 25 at Camp Casey’s Carey Fitness Center courtesy of the USO and Armed Forces Entertainment. No video or audio recording will be permitted.
Camp Casey Tax Center
The Camp Casey Tax Center located in Maude Hall, Bldg. 2440, will open Jan. 24 for customers to file their 2010 tax returns. Customers should first make an appointment by calling 730-3591. Income tax preparation services are free for U.S. servicemembers, U.S. military retirees and Department of the Army civilians. Independent contractors employed by the Defense Department are not entitled to free tax preparation services, but can visit the center to get information about where to file their tax returns while they are in Korea.
Commissary Hours
Effective Jan. 24 the Red Cloud Garrison Commissary will be open on Monday and closed on Wednesday. The commissary hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Free Laundromat Wi-Fi
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service and U.S. Army Garrison Red Cloud’s Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Cable TV Office have teamed up to make free Wi-Fi available to customers using the following Laundromats on Warrior Country installations:
Bldg. 3004 at Camp Casey
Bldg. 8 at Camp Red Cloud
Bldg. 3814 at Camp Hovey
Bldg. 2367 at Camp Stanley
DFMWR Cable TV installed the drops and the Exchange is paying for the service.

The Hacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival

Seoul Children's Grand Park has Free Sledding
Seoul Children’s Grand Park will be running free sledding facilities every day (10:00 – 17:00) from December 27th, 2010 to February 27th, 2011. The sledding hill is located near the entrance of the eco-pond deck right beside the main gate of the Children’s Grand Park, on a plot of land measuring 1,825㎡. Here, visitors can ride the traditional Korean sleds and even try their hand at Korean traditional top-spinning. There is even a small lounge when you can get out of the cold and bake your own sweet potato; the best part is that it’s all complimentary!

Mt. Inwangsan Hike and Bugak Skyway Drive
The Royal Asiatic Society will be heading to scenic Mt. Inwangsan and Bugak Skyway for a combined hike and drive. Among some of the sites on the itinerary are the Hyoja-dong Sarangbang, Mugunghwa Park, Bugak Skyway, beautiful Mt. Inwangsan and Sajik Altar.
